The following is an interview with young Cambodian students aged from 19 to 23. They were asked their views on International Women's Day in an exploration of Cambodians' understanding of the day's meaning.

Mu Sochua has campaigned widely for gender justice through Cambodia’s remote areas to end violence against women. She is also working to stop human trafficking, child abuse and worker exploitation by joining with local and international sectors. In 2010, she gained People’s Choice Human Rights Award from the Global Exchange 2010 Human Rights Award Gala for promoting Human Rights in Cambodia.
